The security of your personal information is of utmost importance to us at Nomadic. At Nomadic you are provided with best-in-class security standards so that transactions at Nomadic are safe.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of information, Nomadic has put in place appropriate procedures to safeguard the personal information that Nomadic collects about you online. We want you to understand and be comfortable with the key security mechanisms adopted by Nomadic.

Login IDs and "strong" Passwords
Strong data encryption
Safe data storage and Access control
Prudent risk management practices

Login IDs and strong Passwords

Only you have the ability to access your Nomadic account through the Login ID and Password that you created during registration. User IDs and passwords restrict access to your Nomadic account exactly the way your personal identification number (PIN) protects your bank account at ATM machines.

Nomadic requires "strong" passwords that include a mix of uppercase, lowercase, numeric, and non-alphanumeric characters. Many web sites do not require strong passwords, but Nomadic believes that this additional security is important in safeguarding your personal and financial information. Please safegaurd this Login ID and password information.

Strong data encryption

At Nomadic, we use Secure Sockets Layer ('SSL') technology to encrypt information exchange. Unlike normal Internet communication, information provided to us at Nomadic is sent in a "secure session" established with SSL. SSL is a security protocol that provides data encryption, server authentication, and message integrity for a connection to the Internet. Using SSL ensures that the information you exchange with Nomadic is never transmitted over the Internet unencrypted and therefore cannot be viewed by unauthorized individuals. This encryption is done using 128-bit encryption, the maximum level of encryption possible on the Internet comparable to security levels used by financial institutions.

There are easy ways to tell if your browser is using a secure connection. One way is to look for a locked padlock icon at the bottom of your browser window:

The "s" indicates a secure connection! When you see those signs, you can rest assured that your online information is secure.

In the interest of security, we suggest that you end your browser session before leaving your computer.

Safe data storage and Access control

Your data resides safely in the Nomadic database and is protected by a firewall. This firewall is configured to receive and process requests only from authorized personnel. It can also detect any unauthorized activity around our servers. Further, some of the highly critical information such as your password, secret question, answer, etc are stored in the database in a hashed format, thereby preventing misuse of data even by any remote possibility.

We take regular back-ups of your data so that appropriate recovery measures can be initiated of the latest information if there are any problems.

Prudent risk management practices

In addition to hardware and software control measures, the internal processes within Nomadic are designed to identify flaws or breaches. These are in the form of different management and reporting controls that are embedded in the processes for customer registration, customer care, biller integration, etc.

We take security seriously and it is important to us that you understand and are comfortable with our security standards. If you have any questions, comments or complaints about our security policies or the way it affects you, please contact us at or call us at:
